[Erina Waters-Fogg]

Erina sat on her desk with her legs crossed waving at the students who came in.

“Change of pace today gang. Going to be doing a little book work. Care of your broom.”

She waved her wand and the students brooms appeared on the stand before their spot in class. For the first years they got a school broom.

“I have…tampered with your brooms. Nothing serious so calm yourselves. I want you to find and fix the problem. For the first years these are the ruddiest school broom we have…make em’ shine. Learning basic care of a broom is fundimental.”

[Poppet]

"But... but..."

Poppet looked absolutely horrified that anyone, even a teacher, would do anything to her broom. She got all weepy like her broom was a puppy and Professor Waters had just kicked it.

[Draconis Kuntzler]

Draco couldn't help but snigger as Poppet looked like she was about to cry. He looked over his own wand and stopped laughing only because it looked fine but if the teacher said it had been tampered with then it had, but how? Easy fix, he looked over to his brother to see if he had any ideas.

[Tommy Ashbourne]

"Don't cry Poppet. Your broom just needs a good polish and if you look close, something needs to be done to your pedal bar but I'm not going to tell you what, you have to figure that out yourself kiddo."

Tommy nudged Draco for pickin on the poor kid. She'd had a rough time last year, she didn't need to be Draco's new target of terror but Draco was a bully, he would always find a weak link to pick on.

[Serpentine Kuntzler]

Reluctantly Penn took his brothers broom and held it out to balance it. Gestured to the left side and whispered something in German then set to tending his own broom, balancing it like he did to Draco's. The balance was off, he would need to readjust the bristles if he wanted to fly level.

[Mikhael Morcerf]

Weren't Mikhael and Penn a pair, he too was very quiet, did not work with others and set to fixing the "damages" to his broom along with the usual care and maintenance once that was taken care of.

[Natalie Sage]

Tally saw the new face toward the end of the year last year but never really got to talk to him. Peter hadn't shown up yet so she decided to get settled first. She took a seat right beside Mikhael.

"What kind of broom is that?"

It was the stupidest question but she hoped it would get him talking as she set to fixing what was wrong with her broom.

[Poppet]

"Oh thank you Tommy."

Poppet gave Tommy a big hug before she settled to fixing up her broom now that she knew what she needed to focus on fixing up. She was easily all smiles again.

CeCe was seated in front of Mikhael. She was inspecting her broom rather throughly. It was suprising to see someone who didn't do Quidditch know how to handle a broom like she was. The broom was smallish and almost sliver in color. The bristles looked soft like hair not like real bristles at all.

Quickly CeCe found the issue set the broom on the stand that was on the desk and got to work on the assigment. She paid little attention to Natalie's attempt to flirt with the new face. If it breathed she would not doubt hit on it.

Rikki was super suprised Peter wasn't in this class. It was actually a bit of a let down. Still she needed to fix her broom per the assigment. Checking her broom over lazily she didn't catch the problem right off. She was going to drag this out a bit ing the hopes Peter or Trista might show up.
