Winded, and holding his side Raven fought to catch his breath as he gave a bow to Oliver.

"Thanks... you have given... the students... a lot... to learn... from..."

He managed to say in short breaths.

"Therein lies your weakness. A dark wizard will not think for one moment of an innocent bystander save to use them as a shield or keep them hostage if the mood suits them. You were too busy thinking about your students to remain focused."

Oliver began to scold Raven like he was just a student toying with a wand and not taking this class seriously at all. He put his wand away and adjusted his gloves as he approached Raven.

"You need to learn to always be aware of your surroundings but only just, not to the point of distraction. If you lose focus you lose the duel."

These words, while still scolding in their own right were said softer than the others as he patted Raven on the shoulder then left the platform and the classroom as though he hadn't just been in a duel at all. There were books to sort out in the library.

Raven was not a fan of being scolded to say the least. But he couldn't argue the sound wisdom of a Master duelist. Partly because he was too winded to speak much and partly because Oliver was right. Raven hoped that his students paid close attention to what Oliver had said and hoped that they would include this in their reports.

"Next class... be prepared... to duel... Class... dismissed..."

He finally managed to say once Oliver had left and he gave a small wave of his hand to let the students know they could leave. Class still had a minute or two left but it was the end of the day and the instruction was over.
