The Case of the Three Broomsticks

[Esteban Montez]

Esteban stared at the one speaking, then at the other one who remained speechless. Something wasn't quite right with them, but then again half the people in here weren't right. He gave them skeptic looks, unsure how to go about this.

"I do not know what you are talking about,"

Not until the attention was brought to the silent one did Esteban get a good look at him. He was a student from Hogwarts, or at least he used to be. But what was he doing here. He knew several pureblood students who came into the bar, for there was not many. So him not knowing this kids name stuck out to Esteban.

"Montez.."

He watched Jason for a while then turned back to the other. What were they doing here? Did they know something about the Order, perhaps working to deliver a message to Esteban, or where they working for the Ministry?

“Figures… people were talking about how you were in here the other day preaching on how the Order is the only thing of any worth lately… and it was all talk. I’m starting to think the Order is just like when people were saying the Death Eaters were not done and over with even after it was revealed that they had been following a mudblood the whole time. What a joke…”

Ryuu looked around the Three Broomsticks as though really taking it in for the first time and he gave an annoyed shrug. This place really was a waste of time.

“Doubt you ever will come across any Order fellows… nothing but rumors.”

He held a disappointed expression; one that was to be expected of someone who was hoping to join an army only to find the war was already over.

“Get a move on pup, one more stop in Knockturn then…”

He was taking his time in leaving, just incase Esteban might have a change of mind and might say something to someone who appeared to be an honest pureblood looking to join the cause.

"Wait what are you getting at?"

Esteban said in a hushed tone. Fuego, his phoenix, ruffled his feathers. He didn't know what these guys were doing here. What he especially didn't get was how they knew about what happened that day. What every it was, they were looking for information. Esteban just didn't know who's side they were rooting for.

(This scene has been going on for too long now. Lets just say that they observed Esteban, he didn't give anything away, and they didn't give themselves away at least not right there. Later upon a little research Esteban would have been able to figure out that those people were Aurors there so he would be aware the ministry has their eye on him for his previous outburst at the pub the other day. If we are all agreed on this I will ask the Minister to lock and archive this.)
