Note: These are the minimum classes a student is required to take at each year but students of any year may take all classes provided unless the Professor has stated otherwise.

First Year classes:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Against the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration

Same as first

Third Year classes:

Same as second plus the following
Ancient Runes
Arithmancy
Care of Magical Creatures
Divination
Muggle Studies

Fourth Year classes:

Same classes as third year, begin preparing for O.W.L.s.

Fifth Year classes:

Same as fourth year. O.W.L.s. to be taken in June.

Sixth Year classes:

Students don't know what their classes for sixth year will be until after they receive the results of their O.W.L.s. On the first day of term Characters will meets with the Head of their House to see which classes you can take. If the character did not pass an O.W.L. options will be discussed.
